How we helped a Charity Event get 5.8x ROAS from Facebook & Instagram Ads

This charity had was not equipped to track the revenue that they were generating from the Paid Ads that they had in place. Once we were able to measure ROAS in the second year, we generated over $56K in donations at a 3.0x ROAS. By the third year, we more than doubled the donations to $207K while increasing ROAS to 5.8x.

Project Overview

The charity needed help in driving donations for their event. They required a channel that was reliable and scalable and they did not have systems in place to track ROAS. They were not aware of the level of testing needed to maximize on efficiency. We worked with them regionally in year one, managing to expand to include the whole state by year two.

LeadSmith got to work in the following fundamental ways:

Results

While we were not able to track ROAS when we first came on to the project in Year 1, we quickly implemented campaign tracking systems and by Year 2 we were able to generate a 3.0x ROAS from the reginal campaign.

As we expanded to a state-wide campaign in Year 3, we were able to generate 2050 donations with a total of $207K, which was almost double the ROAS at 5.8x.

There was a 218% increase in donations and 93% increase in ROAS between Year 2 and Year 3
